Govt forces on Tuesday night conducted nocturnal raids in southern Kashmir’s Khudwani area of Kulgam district and allegedly thrashed civilians and arrested around a dozen youth.
Sources said that the govt forces allegedly vandalized houses, smashed window panes and more than a dozen vehicles.
He further said that the forces also assaulted many youths, adding that the forces went berserk and broke the windows and doors of many houses after they entered many houses of the locality.
SSP Kulgam Harmeet Singh Mehta could not be contacted for a comment.
