Ganderbal, July 19: A 62yr old scooty rider was killed in a road mishap in Baroosa area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday evening.
Officials sources said that the mishap occurred at Baroosa area of district when a scooty collided with a Chasis Tractor which was on its way to Baroosa from Ganderbal.
The scooty rider got critically injured in the mishap. he injured was shifted to a district hospital Ganderbal where from he was referred to SK institute of Medical seience(SKIMS) in critical condition. Later he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
A Senoir police officer confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Mohammad Shafi Mir a resident of Repora Ganderba.
The body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital and legal formalities will be conducted. The case in this regard has been registered and the investigation are going on. (KNO)
