Panic gripped in City Centre Lal Chowk area after suspected militants lobbed a grenade near Pratap Park area on Sunday afternoon, said police.
Police spokesman said that militants lobbed a grenade in Lal Chowk area resulting in injuries to two civilians and two CRPF personnel who have been hospitalized.
Soon after the explosion, heavy contingents of police including CRPF personnel reached the site of the incident and the entire area was cordoned off and a massive manhunt launched.
