Expresses solidarity with Moulana Abdur Rashid Dawoodi on demise of his father
Srinagar, April 18: Soon after the lockdown was announced in Kashmir on March 20, Karwan-e-Islami International’s charity wing— Kashmir Imdaad Foundation pulled up its socks and activated is volunteers in each district, tehsil and zone across Kashmir and so far more than 4500 needy, poor and destitute people right at their door steps.
Talking to media persons in Srinagar, Karwan-e-Islami patron Alama Ghulam Rasool Hami said that the Kashmir Imdaad Foudation reached out to the poorest of the poor who had nothing to buy essentials and extended them with a helping hand.
He said that in times of the Covid-19 pandemic, people must offer prayers for repentance, pay duroood—o-salaam on our beloved prophet (SAW), recite Zikro-Azkaar and seek Almighty Alllah’s refuge from the deadly virus that has engulfed entire world including. Alama Hami said that it is high time that the people of Kashmir must follow the guidelines issued by the health department and advisories issued by the doctors and also maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
Alama Hami prayed for the well-being of all those supported Kashmir Imdaad Foundation financially at a time when pandemic is spreading across J&K. He made a fervent appeal to the Kashmir’s rich to come forward in this testing times and support the Kashmir Imdaad Foundation so that no one in Kashmir sleeps empty stomach in the upcoming fasting month of Ramdhan.
Alama Hami asked the volunteers of Kashmir Imdaad Foundation and masjid committees to abide the set guidelines and maintain proper distribution. He hailed the hard work of volunteers of Imdaad Foundation, especially those active in Ganderbal, Srinagar, Bandipora, Pulwama , Beerwah, Budgam, Naraal, Sopore, Baramulla and Chadoora.
Meanwhile, Alama Hami while expressing solidarity and sympathy with Moulana Abdur Rashid Dawoodi on the demise of his father and expressed his deep shock and grief. Alama Hami said that Dawoodi Sahab’s father was a pious and noble soul besides a practicing Muslim.He prayed for the highest standards in heaven for the deceased.
