Kulgam, Aug 15: In an unsuccessful attempt, a grenade was lobbed at a PDP’s Kulgam block President’s house on Sunday evening. However, the grenade failed to explode, officials said.
An official told that a grenade was lobbed at a house of a PDP block President identified as Farooq Ahmad Rather at Ashmuji village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
They said the grenade, however, didn’t explode, adding that the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) rushed to the spot and successfully diffused the grenade.
Meanwhile, the search operation has been launched in the area.(KNO)
