Srinagar, Nov 08: Unknown gunmen shot dead a civilian at Bohri Kadal area of downtown Srinagar, officials said Monday.
Officials said unknown gunmen fired at a salesman Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Ashtengu Ghat, area of northern district of Bandipora. Medical Superintendent SMHS hospital Dr Kanwaljeet Singh said that a civilian was brought to hospital with two bullet injuries in his abdomen.
Hospital authorities, however, said that Ibrahim succumbed while being operated.
Meanwhile, Area has been cordoned off and search operation has been launched in the area. Police have registered a case in this regard. (QNS)
