Srinagar, Nov 25: The government on Friday assigned charge of Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) to Vice Chairman J&K Lake conservation and Management Authority (LCMA), Bashir Ahmad Bhat in addition to his own duties.
Bhat, as per an order, issued by Secretary to the Government, Piyush Singla, a copy of which lies with the news agency shall hold the charge of SMC Commissioner till Athar Aamir ul Shafi Khan resumes his duties.
“In the interest of administration, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IRS, Vice Chairman J&K Lake conservation and Management Authority (LCMA),shall hold the charge of the post of Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and chief Executive Officer, Special purpose vehicle for Srinagar Smart city in addition to his own duties, till Mr. Athar Aamir Ul Shadi Khan, IAS resumed his duties,” the order reads.(KNO)
