Srinagar, Feb 21: The crescent for the holy month of Shaban 1444 AH has been sighted in Jammu and Kashmir, annouced Grand Mufti Nasir-Ul-Islam on Tuesday evening.
Grand Mufti said that Shabaan Moon has been sighted in Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, the first of Shaban would be on February 22.
He further said, Shab-e-Barat would be observed on Wednesday, March 8. (QNS)
