Srinagar, May 31: In a notification issued by the Haj Committee J&K, all male intending Haj pilgrims for Haj 2023 have been instructed to wear Ihram at the International Airport in Srinagar.
According to the notification, signed by Dr. Abdul Salam Mir (JKAS) Executive Officer, aims to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for the pilgrims during their departure for Haj.
According to the notification, male pilgrims have been advised to keep their Ihram clothing in handbags while proceeding towards the Haj House on the day of their departure. By wearing the Ihram at the airport, the pilgrims will avoid any inconvenience that may arise during transit or upon arrival at their destination.
The decision to implement the Ihram dress code at the International Airport in Srinagar is expected to streamline the departure process and facilitate a seamless transition for the pilgrims. This measure aims to enhance the convenience and comfort of the male pilgrims during their journey to the holy pilgrimage site.
