A failed burglary attempt at a bank in Telangana led to an unusual incident. The thief, unable to break open the bank’s lockers, left behind a note praising the bank’s security system.
“My fingerprints will not be there. Good bank. Could not get a single rupee, so don’t catch me,” read the note.
The incident reportedly took place at a branch of Telangana Grameena Bank on Thursday night (August 31). Upon arriving on Friday morning, the bank staff found out with the help of the note a would-be burglar left.
The burglars’ movements were captured on CCTV surveillance cameras but the thief was cautious enough to have covered his face, said police. The police suspect the thief to be a local and not a banker.
The bank employees confirmed that all the valuables were intact.
