Srinagar, Oct 30: People’s Conference Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone on Wednesday welcomed the decision to revert the academic session for students up to class 9 to end-of-year examinations in November, describing it as the correction of a previous wrong decision.
Taking to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, Lone said, “Good that a wrong decision has been reversed. Welcome reverting the academic session up to class 9 back to end-of-year exams in November. This should be extended to classes 10, 11, and 12, where it matters most.”
Lone highlighted that while this adjustment is positive, it is essential for the change to be applied to higher classes, particularly for students in classes 10, 11, and 12, where the academic schedule significantly impacts students’ preparation and performance.(KNS)
