Srinagar, Jan 17: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah escaped unhurt after a car in his convoy met with an accident near Dausa, Rajasthan, while he was traveling to Ajmer Dargah Sharif.
The incident occurred when the car escorting Abdullah collided with a blue bull (neel gai) on the highway. Due to the impact, both front airbags of the vehicle deployed, preventing serious injuries.
Abdullah was traveling by road under the escort of Delhi Police personnel. Authorities have confirmed that the former Chief Minister is safe and unharmed. The incident caused a brief halt but did not significantly disrupt his travel plans.(QNS)
