Srinagar, Jan 22: A man sustained injuries after being hit with a bat by unknown boys during a cricket game in Waragam village of Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.
Quoting police sources, news agency JKNS reported that a man was playing cricket when some unknown boys hit him with a bat, leaving him badly injured.
The injured, identified as Abdul Gani, a resident of Dreygam Khansahab, was moved to District Hospital Budgam where doctors after administering first aid referred him to SKIMS Bemina in Srinagar for advanced medical care.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation, said the sources.
