Srinagar, Feb 03(QNS): A fresh Western Disturbance is set to impact parts of Jammu and Kashmir starting tomorrow, bringing rain and snowfall to various regions.

According to Weatherman Forecasts, the weather system will first affect parts of South Kashmir around midday before spreading across the Valley. The maximum impact is expected in South and Central Kashmir, with districts like Shopian and Kulgam likely to witness significant snowfall accumulation.

Light to moderate snowfall is also expected in Kargil, Drass, and areas adjoining Sonamarg, while heavy snowfall is anticipated over the Zojila Axis.

In Jammu, light to moderate rainfall is expected in the plains, whereas the higher reaches may experience light to moderate snowfall.

Authorities and residents are advised to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary precautions.(QNS)
