Not Just Dodi Khan, Mufti Qavi Also Wants To Marry Rakhi Sawant
Calling Rakhi Sawant a “respectable woman,” Mufti also addressed her interest to marry a Pakistani acholar saying that he is “ready” but not without certain conditions.
Mufti Qavi has once again made headlines, this time stirring up a storm with his remarks about marrying Rakhi Sawant. During a podcast with Muneezay Moeen, he praised Rakhi for her recent spiritual journey, including her Umrah pilgrimage and referred to her as a “respectable woman.” He also commented on her desire to marry a Pakistani scholar, expressing his willingness to marry her but with one condition: he would need to seek permission from his mother first. “If she permits me, then, because it is her command, you need to ask me before getting married,” Mufti stated.
Known for his controversial statements, Mufti shifted the spotlight to Rakhi Sawant, suggesting he is open to marriage under his mother’s approval. During the same conversation, Mufti also shared a personal anecdote about his past marriage to a woman from a distinguished family, with ties to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and Quaid-e-Azam. He revealed that the marriage ended tragically with the untimely death of his wife.
Recently, Rakhi Sawant made headlines again by expressing her desire to marry Pakistani actor Dodi Khan on social media. Dodi later proposed to Rakhi and clarified his intentions in a video on Instagram, stating, “I haven’t taken a U-turn, nor have I run away. I’ve spoken to Rakhi and once we meet in person, I will update you all. I feel like you didn’t fully understand what I said earlier, so I will clarify again. I plan to marry Rakhi and then let everyone know.”
