Srinagar, Mar 4(QNS): Jammu and Kashmir is set to witness a spell of sunny and dry weather over the next 5-6 days, with a significant rise in daytime temperatures starting tomorrow. The pleasant conditions are expected to provide relief from the recent cold spells, especially in higher altitudes.

According to weatherman, clear skies and stable atmospheric conditions will dominate the region, leading to a sharp increase in maximum temperatures. This will offer a much-needed respite from the chilly mornings and evenings that have persisted over the past few weeks.

However, a fresh Western Disturbance is on the horizon and is expected to impact the region from the evening of March 10. This weather system could bring cloud cover, a dip in temperatures, and possibly rain or snow in higher reaches.

Residents and travelers are advised to make the most of the upcoming warm and dry days while staying updated on weather developments ahead of the approaching disturbance.(QNS)
