Cellphones along with accessories worth lacs recovered:
Srinagar: On 12.01.2019, Police Station Rainawari,Srinagar received written application from one namely Sahil Hussain Dar S/o Gh Hussain R/o Khawajapora Syedapora Rainawari that some unknown person/persons have entered his Mobile Shop “A S Communication”near Rainawari chowk and have stolen mobile phones along with accessories in lacs,during interveining Night of 11/12 of January.
On this information,Case FIR No 03/2019 U/S 457,380 RPC was registered in police station Rainawari .
A special investigation team was constituted headed by SHO Rainawari Shri Ajaz ahmad to investigate the said case under the supervision of SDPO Khanyar Shri Raja Zuhaib-KPS.
During investigation,Police called FSL Team on spot ,collected chance prints & also collected/ analysed CCTV footage of the said shop and vicinity.
During the course of investigation IMEI’s of stolen Cell phones were kept on survelliance .Two suspected persons identified as 1) Altaf Ahmad Shah s/o Mohammad Yousuf Shah R/ o Khawajapora Syedpora Rainawari & 2) Shahid Ahmad Bhat S/o Assadullah Bhat R/o Rangparistan Rainawari were identified and called to Police station for questioning. During questioning the said suspected persons disclosed that they had hatched a conspiracy to rob the said shop from last few days and had already marked that shop
On 11/12 intervening night the said suspects entered the shop after breaking the earmarked wall and had robbed the shop.
On disclosures made the accused, stolen property including 35 Cell phones and accessories worth lacs were recoved from their possesion.Both were found involved in the said theft case and were arrested.
