Government forces on Tuesday launched a massive cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Aglar village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Superintendent of Police, Pulwama Chandan Kohli said the CASO was launched following “specific inputs” about the presence of militants.
Reports said that the army’s Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu & Kashmir police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) cordoned off Aglar village and started door-to-door searches.
They said the forces sealed all the entry and exit points of the village.
