Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership Friday held a protest demonstration at Maisuma in Srinagar against the detention of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik under Public Safety Act(PSA) and ban on Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir.
Scores of leaders and activists assembled in Maisuma holding placards and banners and raised slogans against these “oppressive measures”.
The protesters demanded immediate revocation of ban on Jama’at and release of all political prisoners and Yasin Malik.
