Former finance minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Saturday expressed shock and grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident that took place on Chanderkoot-Rajgarh road in Ramban district.
Bukhari urged the governor-led administration to take immediate measures to prevent frequent mishaps in the region.
He also demanded a tough action against the traffic violators who mostly cause these accidents consuming precious lives almost on daily basis in the state.
He said that the lack of education, enforcement, engineering and emergency services have been found main reasons for the growing accidents in the state.
Bukhari also demanded immediate release of ex gratia relief to the bereaved families.
The former finance minister extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who died in the tragic accident and others who sustained injuries in this mishap.
