Srinagar, 29-04-2019: Youth Public Welfare Forum in collaboration with the hawk productions today organized a Social program based on Reasons and Remedies of Late Marriages in Kashmir at New Cottage Inn restaurant Sanat Nagar Srinagar.
Aijaz Ahmad founder of YPWF and CEO Mir Amir,including Many Social Activists and civil Society members, journalists and Islamic scholars participated in the Event while addressing the Event firstly Social activist Sameer Bukhari said , late marriage is becoming a virus in Kashmir due to which many youth are unmarried and crossed the age of 35-40.
He said that its responsibility of youth to aware the society about this problem, especially about dowry, cast system, unemployment phobia etc. While Renowned Social Activist Syed Aijaz Kashani said Unemployment is not an issue because in other states mostly people are doing private Jobs.
He said no doubt we have lack of a good corporate sectors where youth can earn for feed thier families, but it doesn’t means unemployed youth haven’t right to get marriage. While Speaking in the Event Tariq bhat Chairman ANN said that to solve this problem we should come out from these myths like cast system and people should boycott the marriage parties which are spending unnecessary money on marriage.
Social Activist Advocate Syed mujtaba said marriage in kashmir has become a very big issue .
There are numerous contributory causes to late marriage. Few among these are dowry, an extravaganza in making marriage, unemployment, caste system etc.
We are suffering from such mind set in kashmir where before thinking of marriage, getting a govt job becomes the first priority of every man.
While social Activist Imtiyaz Chesti and Molana Syed ishfaq bukhari, Shadab peerzada ,Abida Baba,Dr furqan,Syed vakas bukhari, Dar Javaid and Syed Kabir Geelani also appreciated youth Public Welfare Forum ,the hawk productions and new cottage inn Restaurant to organise this event which is need of the time.
