Srinagar, May 11: Eight passengers were injured in a road mishap at Nowgam area of Verinag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
Reports reaching GNS said that a vehicle (Sumo bearing registration number JK03D-8837) skidded off the road and overturned at Nowgam area late today afternoon.
In the mishap, eight passengers were injured, they said.
Concerned Station House Officer (SHO), Showkat also confirmed it and said that all the injured were hospitalized.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up,” he said.
