SRINAGAR: Hundreds of protestors on Sunday morning assembled in main Chowk Magam and staged a peaceful protest against the gruesome rape incident with a three year old girl in Malikpora Bandipora.
The protests were organised by youth welfare committee Magam and Shalimar sumo stand Magam.
The protestors were holding placards with the messages like “Girls are not toys”, “Hang the rapist Tahir Ahmad” and “We want Justice” and demanded stern punishment against the culprit.
Ghulam Mohammed Mir a senior citizen appealed the authorities to hang the rapist publicaly.
