An unidentified body of a 12-year-old boy was found from Kishanganga river in Gurez area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.
An official said that the body was found floating in the river near Achoora village of Gurez on early morning today.
Police said, a team of cops reached the spot and fished out the body with the help of locals. The body was later shifted to hospital for identification and other medico-legal formalities, he said.
The deceased is believed to be a resident of Pakistan, sources said.
