Sopore, July 29: Sopore Police arrested a most wanted drug dealer in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching said a police team headed by DySP Sopore Majid Bhat and SHO Azim Iqbal arrested a most wanted drug dealer in Sopore town and recovered huge quantity of illegal drugs from him.
A police officer while confirming the news said “ yes we have arrested one Arif Hassan Lone s/0 Ab Hameed Lone R/0 LORIHAMA RAFIABAD and recovered 15000 capsules, since the day first we were focusing on suppliers and with this arrest there vll be 60% reduction in supply as he was supplying drugs not only in Sopore but in whole north kashmir” in this regard an FIR No 213/019 us 8/22 NDPS act registered at ps Sopore and more arrests in coming days are expected
Pertinently, Sopore police since past month had apprehended many drug peddlers and among three were booked under Public Safety Act.
