The capital city of Srinagar is all set to get a new Mechanized car parking which will greatly help in decongestion of traffic.
This was informed in a meeting which was convened by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan to review the traffic decongestion measures across the city.
The government has already approved Rs 10 crores under AMRUT scheme to Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) for the execution of the construction work.
To start immediate construction work on the new Mechanized car parking in the city, Div Com directed SDA to submit the complete report of the identified location and other necessary measures to the Divisional Commissioner immediately for the necessary course of action.
