Aishmuqam, April 12: Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, today visited the Ziyarat Shareef of Sakhi Zainuddin Wali (RA) in Aishmuqam to review preparations for the upcoming Zool festival.
The festival, scheduled for tonight, is expected to draw hundreds of devotees from various parts of Kashmir.
During her visit, Dr. Andrabi met with locals and gathered suggestions on how to improve the festival experience. She directed the Waqf Board’s engineering wing to expedite the paneling work at the Masjid Shareef in Aishmuqam and instructed the development of recreational spaces to ensure the comfort of devotees.
To facilitate a smooth experience for the visitors, Dr. Andrabi emphasized the need for proper sanitation facilities, uninterrupted power supply, and adequate drinking water.
Later, she also visited the Sarbal shrine in Pahalgam and assured the public of improved facilities there.
