Govt order will substantially increase availability of power in UT

Srinagar, Apr 27: In a bid to address the issues of power paucity in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India has allocated additional power of 207 MegaWatts to the Union Territory.

As per the news agency, the government of India has allocated 207MW additional power to Jammu and Kashmir in an order to meet the increasing electricity demand.

Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor and PDD, Nitishwar Kumar said that the order issued by the Union Ministry of Power will substantially increase the availability of power in J&K.(KNO)
