The actor, who had been traveling to promote his latest film, Sarfira, began feeling unwell a few days ago and decided to get tested when he learned that several crew members had also tested positive
Akshay Kumar isolated himself immediately after receiving the positive test results and is following all medical guidelines. A source close to the actor confirmed, “Akshay tested positive on Friday morning and, as a responsible individual, he has isolated himself to prevent any potential spread of the virus.”
This development means that Akshay Kumar will miss both the final promotional events for Sarfira and the grand wedding of Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. Anant had personally invited Akshay to the wedding, but the actor’s health situation necessitates his absence.
