Lok Sabha polls: 14.8 % electorate exercise their franchise in Srinagar Parliamentary constituency

Srinagar: The polling for the Srinagar parliamentary constituency concluded this afternoon with 14.8 percent electorate exercising their franchise.

The Srinagar Parliamentary constituency consists of 15 assembly segments spread over Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal districts.

An official while detailing the break up of voter turnout said that Srinagar District recorded a turnout of 7.9 per cent while 17.5% of votes were polled in Budgam district and 21.60% votes were polled in Ganderbal district.

The overall percentage of the votes in the Srinagar Parliamentary constituency was recorded 14.4 per cent.
