Baramulla: An Army trooper shot himself dead with his service rifle while on duty in Baramalla district on Saturday afternoon.
Sources said that Hemant Kumar Panday who was posted at 46 Rashtriya Rifles shot himself dead with his service rifle. He was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police has filed police regicase.
