Anantanag, July 30: A militant has been killed in an encounter between government forces and militants in Kathoo Wopzan area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said that a militant has been killed in exchange of fire and operation is underway in the area.
A dead body along with weapon has been recovered, he said adding that identification of slain militant is being ascertained.
