Says slain was pro-poor, sober person; no religion justifies killing of unarmed civilians; police must punish killers
Srinagar, Oct 5: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) for J&K Altaf Thakur strongly condemned the killing of famous Chemist M L Bindro at his shop near Iqbal Park, Srinagar by militants stating that the slain was helpful, sober and pro-poor who always cared for poor.
In a brief statement, Thakur said those behind the killing of Bindro have no religion as killing of unarmed persons is never justified in any religion. “I express my solidarity with the family members of Bindro and urge police to expose and punish his killers, sooner the better,” Thakur said.
