Government forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in two different villages of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
As per reports, after getting inputs about presence of some militants in the area, joint teams of government forces that include 42RR and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches in Patsuna area of Tral.
Forces have sealed all entries and exits of the area while heavy contingents of forces are present in the area.
Similar were the reports received from Panzgam village of the district where 55RR along with Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a Cordon and Search Operation following the tips that they got about presence of militants.
The searches were on in the area when reports reached News agency Press Trust of Kashmir.
