Srinagar, Dec 27: The Kashmir region experienced bone-chilling temperatures today, with several areas plunging into severe sub-zero conditions. Pulwama and Shopian recorded the lowest in the valley at -9.5°C, while Zojila was the coldest spot at a frigid -24.0°C.
Kashmir Region Highlights
• Srinagar: -7.3°C
• Pahalgam: -8.0°C
• Bandipora: -7.4°C
• Anantnag: -9.2°C
• Khudwani & Larnoo: -8.4°C
Other locations, including Qazigund (-6.9°C), Gulmarg (-6.0°C), and Budgam (-7.6°C), also witnessed harsh cold, with many areas enveloped in frost and ice.
Jammu Region Update
The Jammu region showed mixed trends, with Jammu city and Kathua recording relatively warmer minimums of 8.0°C. However, areas like Padder (-8.8°C) and Banihal (-1.8°C) experienced significant dips, hinting at the cold extending its grip.

Ladakh Shivers
