Baramulla, May 7: In view of the prevailing situation, authorities have directed several private school heads in Sopore and Baramulla to immediately dispatch their school buses to Degree College Baramulla within one hour.
According to a directive issued by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Baramulla, a copy of which lies with JKNS, the concerned schools are required to send a specific number of buses to the location and maintain close coordination with the District Administration and ARTO Baramulla.
The schools ordered to send buses include SRM Welkin School Sopore (25 buses), Netherfield School Sopore (10), DPS Baramulla (10), Arafeen School Delina (10), Sanctorum Public School Sopore (10), Apex Public School Sopore (10), and GD Goenka Baramulla (10).
The school heads have been directed to submit details of dispatched vehicles along with the driver’s name and contact number to the ARTO office without delay.
The order warns that any negligence will be taken seriously and non-compliance may result in the cancellation of the vehicle’s registration without further notice.
The directive, dated May 7, concludes with a strong note: “Matter be treated as most urgent.”
