Sopore, May 7: The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore has announced the establishment of a 24×7 emergency control room to ensure effective coordination and prompt response during any disaster or emergency situation.
As per the order issued by the ADC Sopore, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, “a dedicated control room has been established in the office of the Addl. Deputy Commissioner Sopore to manage and respond to emergency situations in real time.”
In case of any eventuality, the general public has been advised to contact the control room on the following numbers, Irfan Nabi – 9858326600, Mukesh Kumar – 9596810295, Mohd Amin – 7889669352.
“The Control Room shall operate 24×7 during the period of emergency with real-time monitoring and reporting of the situation,” the order reads.
The order, bearing No: ADC/Spr/Rdr/2025/655 and dated May 6, 2025, has also been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and other concerned officials for necessary action.
