Srinagar, Dec 26: The scheduled desilting of the 1.5 MG Service Reservoir at the 10 MGD Water Treatment Plant in Doodhganga has been postponed, according to the Water Works Division, Srinagar reads an order issued a copy of which lies with the News Agency Quick News Service (QNS)
Initially planned for January 1, 2025, the maintenance has been delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions and technical challenges. In a statement, the department expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the deferment and assured residents that updates regarding the rescheduling will be provided in due course.
