Srinagar, June 06: Jammu and Kashmir is set to experience a prolonged dry spell until June 12, with no rain in sight. As the skies stay clear, severe heatwave conditions are set to return.

In Kashmir plains, maximum temperatures may climb up to 34 – 35°C. While as, Jammu plains will witness a steady surge in daytime temperatures, potentially reaching 45 – 46°C next week.

A slight relief may arrive post 13th June, but no strong Western Disturbance or monsoon activity is expected even after. Forecasts remain dynamic, and further updates will be issued as the situation evolves.
