Government forces on Tuesday evening launched cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sopat village in chowgam belt of South Kashmir’s district Kulgam.
Officials sources told KNO that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched searches after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“Lights have been installed and house to house search operation is going on,” sources said.
