The Srinagar-Jammu highway remained closed on Saturday due to the fresh landslides at various places on the thoroughfare.
An official said that earlier landslides were cleared and traffic was resumed, but shortly shooting stones and landslides occurred near Digdole in Ramban, forcing thousands of the vehicles to get stranded on the highway.
However, the official said that men and machinery are on the job to clear the debris on the road.
