Srinagar Jan 19(QNS): A fresh Western Disturbance is set to affect the weather across Jammu and Kashmir, bringing cloudy skies and precipitation to various parts of the region. Light rain and snow are likely to occur today and continue through tomorrow morning, with the system expected to peak tomorrow afternoon.

According to weather forecasts, the primary focus of this system will be on North Kashmir and some areas of Central Kashmir. The plains of North Kashmir, along with its higher reaches, are likely to witness snowfall, with moderate accumulation expected in some locations.

Meanwhile, South Kashmir is expected to experience minimal impact from the disturbance, with only light snowfall predicted and no significant accumulation anticipated.
