Srinagar, July 12(QNS): Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness a fresh spell of rainfall beginning the evening of July 14, continuing through July 17, according to an update issued by independent weather forecaster Aadil Maqbool.
While the region is expected to remain mostly dry until the 14th, Maqbool has alerted that rain and thunderstorms are likely to affect various parts of the Union Territory during the subsequent three days. “As per current indications, a heavy spell of rain is also possible during this period,” he noted.
The forecaster added that despite the precipitation, daytime temperatures are expected to remain within a comfortable range across most regions of J&K.
Residents and travelers have been advised to stay updated with the latest weather advisories, especially those in flood-prone or low-lying areas. More detailed updates will be shared as the weather system develops.(QNS)
