A husband allegedly threw acid on his wife in Jharkhand’s Ranchi district and the victim is said to be gravely affected by the acid attack, reported India Today.
She has been admitted to RIMS Hospital. The accused has been identified as Aamir and he is a resident of Namkum.
At present, the woman is undergoing treatment in the burn ward of RIMS. Sources told India Today that the accused threw acid on his wife Hina after a domestic dispute. The police have initiated a probe and the accused husband is said to be absconding.

The victim’s aunt told that on Sunday morning Hina was washing her face in her house when Aamir arrived and suddenly threw acid kept in a steel jug at Hina’s face. After that, he fled from the spot, as per the report.
Hearing her screens and cry, neighbours ran to the spot and rushed her to the hospital.
The police are hunting to nab the husband. The officers involved in the investigation said the husband will be punished under the relevant sections for his brutality, reads the report.
