Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft will airlift the mortal remains of CRPF personnel killed in a bomb attack on their convoy in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
“Indian Air Force C-17 to go to J&K’s Srinagar from Hindon to get the mortal remains of CRPF personnel killed in Pulwama,” reported news agency ANI.
At least 45 CRPF personnel were killed and over 30 others injured after a Fidayeen rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a force convoy on Kashmir highway in Lethpora yesterday.
Jaish-e-Muhammad militant group has claimed the attack, one of the deadliest in past three decades of Kashmir militancy.
