He stated Police proved and won the heart of masses when despite support of ministers and organisation to criminal elements, police didn’t succumb and acted fairly. Police officers stood firm and ensured the charge sheet is filed in the court of law .
Inam stated:” People have grievances with the officers in civil administration as well, and no one can completely shift the onus of an honest and competent administration on police alone. Exploitation may take different shapes, but can’t be attributed to a single department.
I urge both civil and police administration to be stakeholders in grievance redressal in their respective fields. I appreciate police, NGOs, individuals and others for their role in addressing and solving the issues that pertain to empowering women folk. “
Inam criticised Govt for revoking zero stamp duty and urged those at helm, to invoke back the law for the women empowerment.
