Urges all weather tunnel for Karnah
Srinagar, March 12:Socio Political activist Inaam Un Nabi has expressed dismay over the loss of three precious lives in a Snow blizzard at Khoni Nallah forests of North Kashmir Kupwara district.
He while taking to micro blogging website Twitter tweeted: “Any human lost is a loss to humanity. Sad to know 3 people have lost lives near Sadhna Top. The long pending & due demand for KARNAH TUNNEL has only been a political hogwash. High time there is a serious administrative approval and implementation. Cries on LOC anyways go unheard”.
Inam called on those at helm to ensure construction of all weather tunnel connecting Karnah so that precious lives and time is saved.
Inam said billions are spend on futile projects while nothing is being done to ease the journey of commuters at dangerous mountainous roads of Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged for a concrete vision and road policy to save previous lives and build a network of tunnels to save lives.
