Live Activities, where users can check scores and track information about food delivery, will also be supported by the lock screen.
Update for iMessage: Starting with iOS 16, users will have up to 15 minutes after sending a message to change or delete it. For a period of up to 30 days following deletion, users can also restore recently deleted communications. Additionally, users can flag opened conversations as unread using a feature.
Apple Maps update: Apple has brought in several changes to the Maps programme with iOS 16. With the latest version, it will display a number of new parameters, such as speed, car temperature, and other information. Users will also be able to add multiple stops to their route just like they can on Google Maps. Apple Maps users will also be able to check public transportation fares. Additionally, the app will get improved Apple CarPlay integration and new 3D-like visuals.
Live captions, Live Text fast actions, and a shared iCloud Photo Library option that allow you to share photos with your family by transferring them to a designated shared folder are all additional new features with iOS 6. But this functionality won’t likely be accessible until much later in the year.
