110 Urmia Medical University students safely crossed border into Armenia: JKSA
Srinagar, June 17: Amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, at least 110 medical students of India studying in Iran are being evacuated from the country.
National Convenor of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) Nasir Khuehami told “Approximately 110 Indian students from Urmia Medical University have safely crossed the border into Armenia.”
“We spoke to them, and they are expected to reach the capital, Yerevan, by 12 or 1 PM,” he said.
JKSA further said, “They will arrive at their designated location within the next two hours and their flight from Armenia to Delhi is scheduled for tomorrow.”(KNO)
