Police, CRPF say it was a petrol bomb
Srinagar: Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed the grenade attack on CRPF party in Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar city on Monday evening.
In a statement issued to GNS, a spokesman of the outfit Mohammad Hassan said that its cadres carried out the grenade attack on the CRPF bunker which resulting in injuries to several personnel.
A police official denied the attack and said that “some miscreants” hurled a petrol bomb on CRPF party.
PRO CRPF Kashmir Sanjay Sharma when contacted told GNS that a petrol bomb was lobbed on the CRPF party. He said there was no injury in the incident.
